Kegiatan market day di SMP Edu Global

Cirebon, 21 April 2025 – Dalam rangka mendukung pembentukan karakter dan keterampilan abad 21, SMP Edu Global Cirebon melaksanakan kegiatan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) untuk kelas 8 dengan tema Kewirausahaan. Pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025 ini, proyek dikemas dalam konsep yang kreatif dan relevan, yaitu "Healthy Market Day" — sebuah ajang market day yang berfokus pada makanan sehat berbahan dasar buah dan sayur tropis.

Kegiatan berlangsung selama lima hari, dan diisi dengan serangkaian pembelajaran kontekstual yang menyenangkan sekaligus menantang bagi para siswa.

Kegiatan P5 dimulai pada Senin, 14 April 2025 dengan sesi pematerian mengenai business plan, di mana siswa diperkenalkan pada dasar-dasar penyusunan rencana usaha mulai dari ide produk, target pasar, hingga strategi pemasaran. Setelah itu, mereka dibagi ke dalam beberapa kelompok untuk berdiskusi dan merancang ide bisnis yang akan mereka kembangkan selama proyek berlangsung.

Kegiatan pematerian di hari pertama


Karena tema utama Healthy Market Day berfokus pada makanan sehat, hari kedua diisi dengan sesi pengolahan buah dan sayur tropis. Siswa belajar tentang berbagai resep sehat dan teknik pengolahan yang tidak hanya enak tetapi juga bergizi. Kegiatan ini membuka wawasan siswa bahwa makanan sehat pun bisa dikemas secara menarik dan memiliki nilai jual tinggi.

Pada hari ketiga, siswa dibekali materi mengenai perhitungan keuntungan dan kerugian dalam berwirausaha, sebuah keterampilan penting bagi calon pengusaha muda. Mereka belajar menghitung modal, menentukan harga jual, serta memperkirakan potensi laba. Selanjutnya, setiap kelompok melakukan presentasi ide usaha dan mengadakan sesi uji coba (tester) untuk produk yang akan dijual saat market day.

Memasuki hari keempat, para siswa mulai melakukan finalisasi ide jualan, menyiapkan bahan, dan mulai mendekorasi booth masing-masing. Kreativitas siswa benar-benar terlihat saat mereka mendesain stan dagang mereka agar menarik perhatian pengunjung, dengan tetap menonjolkan kesan sehat dan ramah lingkungan.






Hari terakhir adalah hari yang paling ditunggu-tunggu: Healthy Market Day! Suasana SMP Edu Global Cirebon dipenuhi dengan semangat wirausaha. Setiap kelompok siswa menjajakan menu sehat yang beragam – mulai dari smoothies, salad buah, wrap sayur, hingga minuman herbal segar. Acara ini dimeriahkan oleh guru-guru, serta seluruh siswa SMP dan SMA Edu Global Cirebon yang turut menjadi pengunjung dan pembeli.

Melalui kegiatan ini, siswa tidak hanya belajar teori, tapi juga praktik langsung bagaimana menjadi wirausaha yang kreatif, bertanggung jawab, dan berorientasi pada gaya hidup sehat. Di akhir acara, setiap kelompok diminta untuk membuat laporan hasil penjualan, mencatat berapa banyak keuntungan yang diperoleh dan mengevaluasi proses bisnis mereka dari awal hingga akhir.

Kegiatan P5 dengan tema Healthy Market Day ini menjadi bukti bahwa pendidikan karakter dan keterampilan hidup bisa dibentuk melalui pengalaman nyata. SMP Edu Global Cirebon telah berhasil menciptakan ruang belajar yang menyenangkan, bermakna, dan membekas dalam diri siswa.
